Passed by the parking lot at City Park yesterday. Truck loads of barricades ready to go.
This is probably for the LA Marathon this weekend, as they put out all the barricades downtown too.
Wonder which hotel downtown he would be staying at? The Hilton seems to be the nicest option?

He actually came in yesterday.
I saw him at Chicken Shack for the Tuesday two Piece Special.

Someone who called DOTD and DHS asking where POTUS would probably be on a watch list of sorts. They don't release the plans or the route until the last minute. In 2004 and 2008, Bush's motorcade made a last minute change when they visited Baton Rouge.
Supposedly Obama is getting in town tonight and staying downtown. I'm guessing the Hilton or Gov's mansion. From there, you'd have minimal traffic disturbance until he leaves.

If you want to avoid the heaviest traffic, stay for the entire speech. Most attendees will leave at Halftime.

Won't be any worse than non-presidential visit traffic in Baton Rouge
