I agree that echo chambers are bad and that everyone should be entitled to their opinion - I don’t think you should be fired or disciplined for anything you said. Cancel culture sucks.

But shite man, I would read the room and ask yourself what is to be gained by starting an argument like this.

You’re not some hero sticking it to the man. Corporate environments have become very liberal. They aren’t looking out for you so you should look out for yourself and ignore all that shite.

We had a similar “discussion” at work. It was called as an “emergency meeting” randomly one Friday afternoon; put on our calendars for like an hour after it was announced and they put the entire company on hold for two hours to talk about shite like this.

I put the meeting playing on my heads phones and went outside and washed my truck.
