The government has become so bloated and has overstepped its bounds so much people like dawgfan and lsuhouston can’t imagine any other way than to let the feds do more.
In reality, we should have more powerful, more responsible local governments. Why? Because local politicians are more easily held accountable IF the local populace wants them to be.

It’s not the death knell but with corporations employing so damn many people, especially in cities, raising the corporate rates is going to result in even more layoffs.
With the government constantly making rules and regulations that benefit corporations first and foremost the small business is dying. This is both Republicans and Democrats fault.

I have no problem with cutting certain spending but it's not like this is some massive tax hike it's just putting the taxes back to less what they were before Trump
