Did you check CC to see the first sign of a TDS?

I used one of the 'full screen radar' websites. They only have basic base reflectivity.

I have to use your and the other guys with radar apps
posts/images to track TDS.

There's a little bit of a CC drop on the next frame.

You don't need Velocity to see that rotation.

Get em to the safest place they got and hopefully it falls apart. Update us on their status after is passes.

Just trust your wife and mother to do what they need. I know it is of little comfort right now, but try to remember that the odds are in their favor.

Precisely why I had my wife load the kids up in the car and get out of Hattiesburg while I’m offshore. Seen it blow through there too many times to keep rolling the dice

the highest gust of wind at my house today in BR was not during the storms, then new orleans gets hit by a tornado, weather is weird

Same here. Much higher winds here in Ponchatoula before the storm than during. It’s crazy how things change so quickly. We were in the 4 risk zone for tornadoes even a possibility of long track ones which never happen in SE Louisiana. Then New Orleans which wasn’t in a high risk areas gets one, you just never know.

There's no sign that it is on the ground right now. Have them keep sheltering until the warning is dropped or the storm has passed them.
