I don't think we're done with heavy heavy stuff. This line just keeps passing right through Upshur county and what looks like quite a while.

I wouldn't go to sleep with that storm to their SW.

South of Texarkana is getting rocked right now with straight line winds.

Definitely not the update I wanted. They are in Southeast Shreveport.

We had a tornado and extreme straight line winds when I was a kid and those pine trees snapped like twigs and came down like razor blades.

I'm in South Shreveport. Watching that storm in Panola closely. Kind of using Carthage as my guide as to go to sleep. Goes south of Carthage, I'm going to to keep watching. North of Carthage, I'm probably clear. Looking like it's going to keep well to the north of Carthage putting it well North of me once it gets into LA.

He just wants to keep viewership numbers up. That cell isn’t going through Shreveport.

It'll go North of Shreveport.

What the hell is up with Velocity right now?

RadarScope velocity algorithm has been on the fritz all day

Shreveport WFO retweeted fricking Jeff about tracking a tornado in this cell we’re watching. Since Jeff posted that there’s a 100% chance there’s no tornado on the ground.

That's the storm we're watching in Panola, TX. It's moving generally Northeastward. I'm the smaller blue compass between Shreveport and Stonewall. It should go considerably North of Shreveport if it even holds together that long.

Like I said south of Carthage is what usually gets my attention for my area but we're looking good there.

First ever EF6 incoming. Of that, I am certain. I hope he gets a mild case of fleas.

It is kind of that, but it is weird on Omega, too. I think it is strong inflow....maybe. It would be in the right spot.

Awesome, they're across 49 from you so if you're feeling good, I'm good.

I have one of those markers for myself as well. Actually, if it splits two towns to my SW, I'm finding cover.

On the ground again.

I don't think it has much left in it, though. It is finally getting cut off. And going linear. Still worth watching until that rotation dies.

Looks like NWS will let that one expire at 12:45. Think I'm gonna call it a night now that things are starting to go linear.

The great debate is whether to leave the emergency alert sounds on my phone. Inevitably a flash flood warning is gonna come through and set off that emergency tone. I don't really wanna wake up for a flash flood alert.

Yep. After nearly 200 miles of being tornado warned, it is off the board. No other severe warnings, either.

I hate getting woken up by FF warning.
