Just get rid of the shite and live your life.

ETA: Chicken is probably already working on an algorithm for our TD Woke scoring system.

What about when you try to access your bank account online and you’re blocked out because you voted for trump or questioned anything left leaning?

I really hate the message boards are social media argument.

Apples and steaks are both food but they aren’t the same and no one would say they are.

Message boards do not utilize algorithms to place content infront of you. Message boards are not designed with endless pages, the content isn’t selected for you, it is bumped based on user input.

Is tigerdroppings a form of social media, yes. Is it anywhere near the same as Twitter or Facebook? Not at all.

So what? Do levels of social media really matter? Did you ever think things would get to that point?

Do you really think its out of the realm of possibilities now for your ability to access a site like this to be affected?

ISPs aren’t the issue. The above are.

My Strava running app wants me to know they don’t condone the domestic terrorism that happened at the capitol. Thank God, I was worried they were all for it.

LOL saw that on my ride. Deleted the app. Strava has become worthless anyway.

Well, once picks and chooses what is infront of you based on algorithms.... the other doesn’t...

Nope. I just think the comparison of message boards to Facebook and Twitter is silly as they aren’t the same.

No one said they were. You're missing the forest for the trees regarding this issue.

Yeah, wasn't addressing that at all. I was addressing the OP's specific point about ISPs blocking/throttling/preventing people from downloading or uploading 0s & 1s because of affiliations or positions they do not agree with. Net Neutrality would literally prevent this.

I appreciate the attempt to move the goalposts though.

ISPs aren’t blocking traffic so your post is completely irrelevant to the subject being discussed.

Okay, I will.

1) There are threads and posts on the TigerDroppings (Political Board & O-T Lounge Board) that SJWs would consider unacceptable thinking and they would be happy to restrict those types of posts. That's what this thread's OP is referring to.

2) Since you're so hung up on the idea that social media must use algorithms to be considered "real" social media, then you're missing the fact that TigerDroppings uses algorithms in its advertising partnership with Google Ads.

Just start a thread on buying a new watch and then see how many ads you'll start seeing on your TD.Com pages for watches.

Recently I did an internet search (not TD.com but just a plain internet search) on new 2021 Lexus SUVs and for several days when I logged onto TD.com I received numerous ads for Lexus SUVs including where I could test drive a demo.

So if you don't think Google is watching and data capturing what you post and what threads you click on when using TigerDroppings, you're dumber than I thought.

Link? I wasn’t talking about ads that are disabled. Who the frick doesn’t use an ad block?

Dude... my only gripe is how people compare Facebook and Twitter to message board like they’re the exact same thing.
