Nope. I’m well aware that google is tracking this website.
However, this message board isn’t tailoring the threads to you. The message board isn’t adding news to the feed. The message board is completely user input based and doesn’t boost nor suppress post or comments based on algorithms.
Facebook, Twitter, Reddit, etc do these things. Message boards do not.

You
OP
I was responding to the OP. You replied specifically to my response with a focus on big tech companies and not ISPs, which was a concern directly identified by the OP. Now yes, Google (really Alphabet) does also operate a part of their business as an ISP, but under Net Neutrality they would be legally obligated to treat all data the same and not restrict users access to it.
Why did you take the focus away from addressing a specific point of the OP? Do you believe it is not a concern? Then reply to them with reasons why they shouldn't be concerned. If you want to waste your effort on trying to convince why Net Neutrality wouldn't be a solution to the concern then go be my guest.

ISPs aren’t blocking traffic so your post is completely irrelevant to the subject being discussed.

Let's predict some outlandish new "requirements" or restrictions Big Tech places like Apple and Google will do.

3. ATT and Verizon will block data transfer at a moment's notice, if it deems a customer is violating some social justice policy.

Net Neutrality.

social credit
a lot of people have been warning about this for years
most slept through the evidence of what's coming
you will be controlled within the techno grid with social credit

I do, but that can change. All digital currency will play a part in this purge.

Unfortunately closer to 20.
Oddly enough, now that you mention it, I have seen a few job postings in my field (IT) that said you had to have a Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn account which I found extremely odd.

You are on Tiger Droppings which is social media!
Also, never use Uber/Lyft, order food through Doordash/ Waiter, book entertainment tickets online? What will you think when you are refused services because you don’t have the proper social justice score. This extends far beyond posting on Facebook, TD, or Twitter.

Exactly. It's incredible the loops a certain segment is jumping through to try and rationalize why this is all okay.
It reminds of that video of those college dudes that got a rock thrown through their window during the blm riots. They tried to scream, "We're On your side!!!!" thinking it would save them. No. They don't give a shite, they'll get you too.

I mainly have it because I get job/interview offers through it fairly regularly. I Google search my name about once a month to see what is returned. I want it to be as little as possible.
Right now, it's just my LinkedIn and me being listed as a surviving relative in a few obituaries.

You already have a “digital fingerprint”, ever notice things like logging into a personal account on a computer that is not yours, and seeing ads for things you have accessed on your phone or home PC. Same thing happens when your phone connects to a public WiFi network, who you are, and where you are is transmitted to anyone interested. Big tech already has you identified, profiled, and are digitally following you wherever you go.

The funny part of all of this, is if you take a lot of super liberal positions and frame them as things conservatives approve of, even most hardcore liberals hate it.
