Awww, Jenn, sorry to hear that, but at least you know she's getting great care until she comes home.

Our baby boy may also be there through Thanksgiving and longer. I'm not the Mom so it's easy for me to feel I'm glad they won't release him before they're sure it's the right time. I figure we'll make up for the time without him!! He got his first bath today and is wearing clothes/paty gowns ( too big but cute) for the first time. We hang on every forward movement as I'm sure you do. Prayers your little one comes home soon!
Kantz, hope y'all are doing well.

Hey everyone sorry I can't give more regular updates. There's just so much stuff to be done and I'm also taking care of a recovering wife.

Molly continues to do well! She's an absolute doll. It's amazing how she has stolen my heart.

Her official nickname is Mollipop! My wife and I have been singing the lollipop barbershop quartet song to her and it's become her theme song.

Thanksgiving is definitely going to be weird this year, but if yalls nicu is anything like ours I'm sure it'll be a family event. You're in my thoughts every day jenn.

So sweet that you and you wife are singing to Mollipop!

Thanksgiving may be different this year, but you will have much to celebrate and for which to be thankful. You can tell Molly all about it one day. Take some videos of y'all singing to her. She'll love that later. She'll want to know her story.

Hope your wife is feeling better.

Kantz-how you guys holding up? We are still in NICU and exhausted...the coffee shop at our hospital has 2 baristas, one named Molly and one named Allie (my daughters name). It makes me think of you guys everyday.....

Still thinking about you Kantz. I hope all is going well.

Jenn, sorry y'all are still there. Definitely hard! Our baby boy came home yesterday after 68 days in NICU and finally weighing in at 5 lbs, a far cry from 1.12. We are so happy. I hope your baby girl comes home soon!

Happy Thanksgiving! With Allie out yall have a ton to work with today at the dinner table! I'm so happy that she made it out! And gris I'm so glad your boy got out too!

Molly is 4 weeks old today. She's gaining weight and doing lots of good things, though she still struggles with breathing.

Sorry for the missing updates, I just started a new job and taking care of the wife and dogs and going see Molly has not afforded much free time.

Thanks so much for checking in, Kantz. Prayers still coming your way. My goodness, you have a lot on your plate! You can do it, though, and it will eventually settle down. It just takes a lot of time.

Take pics of Molly when you can. One of the NICU nurses who cared for our baby took pics from day 1 to the last day in NICU and she gave the mother a book of all of those pictures with the progress written on each page. It's so neat and the baby will get to see his progress when he's old enough.

Hang in there. I'm so glad Molly is doing good things. Will pray the breathing improves as time goes on and she grows!!!

Crazy-I just searched to find this thread to check on Kantz. Allie is doing great. We finally got a clean bill of health last Friday. From this point forward she is a normal infant :)

Kantz, I hope you guys are doing ok. You are in our thoughts and prayers everyday. For Christmas i hope you have a healthy Molly and wife. Love.

Happy New Year to the babies and their families! Jenn, so glad Allie is doing well. Kantz, hope Molly is still progressing and you and your wife are doing well, too.

At nearly 4 months, our baby boy weighed in at 7 lbs, 4 oz. Finally getting to normal newborn size. Doing well.

Continued prayers for all.
