Bought 1 earlier frick the random number generator, all 5 numbers are close together. Going back later and picking my own.

I think about a week ago, in one of them, there was a string drawn of 35-36-37,of course,they weren't drawn in that order,but still, what are the odds that out of 5 numbers drawn, those would be 3 of them,out of 69 or 75 possibles

I have heard that before,and if you consider each number individually,the odds are the same,for any number being drawn,but taken as a series,the odds are a lot greater against that happening IMO.
If you were filling out a sheet for a ticket numbers,would you feel Ok picking a consecutive string of numbers? I don't think many people would do that.

Tonight will be the 5th or 6th time I have ever bought a ticket. Hope I don't get hooked like that old dude that I was behind at the store a couple of nights ago.
