Is this the thread where all the white people suck each other off and remind each other how great they are?
Just try not to jizz in each other's eyes.
Just try not to jizz in each other's eyes.

Did they any power to subjugate those underneath them?
You might want to let the family of Betty Van Patter know. I'm sure she felt subjugated in those final moments.

So in order to use your definition of racist, you have to blanket an entire race as racist because of the actions of "powerless" individuals who are "not racist".
This isn't close to what I said. If you were a white citizen of a state with Jim Crow and you did not support Jim Crow, you would not be racist. I was not "blanketing" any group.

The definition of the word "racist" has been proven in sociological studies y'all.
What an absolute moron that poster is.
I know for a fact that nothing has ever been "proven" by any "sociological study"... just like an interpretation of a As I Lay Dying has never been "proven" by a English Lit academic. It's just a bunch of subjective bullshite that people have figured out a way to profit from analyzing through the lens of their own preconceived notions.

No. But one of the brothers in here just let me know it is ok for me to hate people based on race, as long as I don't take action on it either by choice or because I am powerless to do so (of course this does not jive with my understanding of morality).

So by your reasoning the president's healthcare law was made to disproportionately effect white people?
You just moved the goal post back in an attempt to keep the inconsistencies of your argument alive. I noticed. Did you?

This article, written by an anglo, explains it better than I can:

Racism is directed from majority to those not in the majority and has its roots in economics. In China, for example, racism would be directed from Han Chinese to any of the other 55 ethnicities. Instead of “white” privilege, China has “Han privilege”—same concept—and from Tibet to Xinjiang (where the Uyghur people live), there are protests, sometimes violent, over Han economic domination.

What?????????????? Wow. Jim Crow wasn't an exercise of power? I would say that laws that kept blacks segregated on buses, airports, train stations, hotels, etc. was clearly an exercise of subjugatory power.
You can add the word power all you want, but you will simply be wrong

Read the article I linked, which demonstrates that you are wrong.

No this is a debate on the proper definition of a word.
Go buy a dictionary and you can jump back in later.

diversityinc.com sounds like a legit website with zero chance at any sort of slant

The definition of racist/racism is defined. No amount of articles or gymnastics or yoga can change that. I'm sorry

But no. This is the thread where we call out leftists who try to re-define a concept to render all white people the irredeemable perpetrators of thought crimes, which the state must intervene to correct.
