Good. We need to go full blown WWII type where industries just mass produced war effort supplies/machines. Let's try to get this under control as soon as possible so we can go back to normal.

I have ChromaCam for the video camera on my computer. Let's me use any image as a background while I'm on video conference. I used this background behind me, today, in my daily conference call. I positioned my camera so that I covered the dog.

The M16 I carried in the military was made by GM's Hydromatic division. No joke.

I had no first hand experience, but when I was a kid during Viet Nam, M-16s were rumored to be made by Mattel. Any truth to that?

Probably coming from China, like most of their parts. This is fact, not speculation

To my knowledge Mattel never got a contract to produce M16 rifles.

In WW2 companies such as Rockola, International Harvester and Singer made small arms for the military. As you can imagine, they are among the most collectible.

I think my favorite turn were the ones three weeks ago who attempted to claim Italy was a crappy third world country.

My Hydramatic M16 could rattle something crazy when you grabbed it by the pistol grip and shook it left and right. Most of the finish was worn off (in 1990) but that thing was accurate as hell. It looked beat to hell but never jammed and operated flawless.
