I can justify it pretty easily when I use waitr or ubereats, get a six pack or wine, and stay in watching Netflix. Coming out way ahead vs going out for dinner & drinks

I’ve used these delivery services about 6 times total and not once has the order been 100% correct

I seriously cannot fathom paying someone $5-6 to bring me sushi for lunch at work which cost $12-$15, and then tipping on top of that, instead of eating at the cafeteria for $4.
Yet all the basic white girl nurses at work do it on the regular. Yeah, I get cafe food sucks but Jesus Christ, you're at work to make money; not spend it.

Sorta, not quite. Probably 2-3 hours depending on experience if you're counting after taxes.

I realize it's such a convenience in tough times but you gotta admit that this is going to get crazy. What's next: pre-chewed food for adults?

my amex platinum gives me $15 in ubereats credits every month.
I normally don't use it, but sometimes Ill get a nice subway delivered for a nice free lunch. $5 delivery fee, plus my $10 meal.
Would never use this otherwise, but a free monthly lunch is a free monthly lunch.
