I have tried to find the thread, but I can't.

I believe he went to an urgent care or stand alone ER and his son went downhill extremely quickly. I think he was about 4 or 5.

I don't remember the poster or his son's names, but I think of both of them every time I kiss my kids goodnight.

Never seemed like he got closure for what that urgent care did to cause it. Terrible situation.

He still posts a good bit. Seems like a good dude. Very sorry for what he's been through.

Got to know him from way back around 2011 or 2012 on the late night threads on here. He was posting pretty much anywhere in the world back then because of his job.

Oh man, I had never see his final post there. So it looked like, at last update, that his son was healthy and it was strictly an issue of negligence.

I just cannot imagine having to go through such a thing.

As a new father, losing a child is my absolute greatest fear.

I couldn’t read the thread. My son passed away at 10 years old. I just can’t read threads like that. God bless that man and his family. It’s pure hell

It's hard to explain the love of a parent for a child. It doesn't go away or lessen over time either. I'd gladly take a bullet for mine right now even though she's a shithead teenager who's mostly a pain in my arse.

That thread still makes me sick to my stomach. Redstick and his family will forever be in my thoughts and prayers
