My HS girlfriend had one of those except her's was a 84 model. My older brother though had this....
His front end was lower and rear end was higher. Other than that, it looked pretty much identical to this. Our grandmother got it for him on his 16th birthday. It was in mint condition when she gave it to him. Had a 351 Windsor and would run like a scaled dog. It lasted almost a year. Of course he (and I to a degree) ragged it out. Lesson I took from it all was it's a big mistake to buy a 16 yr old boy a muscle car.

1969 AMC AMX. Internet photo. Mine was just like this except yellow. Bought it used in 1974 for $1k cash. Wish I had kept it.
