This is not a car one voluntarily drives, it’s a prison sentence.
A ‘97 Stratus was terrible straight out of the box, at Year 21 it must be abysmal.

Well if you’re going to go abysmal, why not go to the archetype?

1992 Lexus LS400 is my daily driver. This is the car that Toyota spent 10 years developing to launch the lexus brand. Grandmother paid 50k for it new and I would have to say it was worth the investment. 26 years later and it still has plenty of power and drives smoothly. All the electronic gizmos still work. Over 400k miles on original engine/trans.

Simple but reliable. I'll drive it til the wheels fall off.

Had a chrysler cirrus (which was the same as a stratus) for a year. Hands down the worst car I've ever had. Never would have bought it but traded a ATV for it. We called it the crapler. It would randomly stall out and wouldn't restart for 30-60 minutes. The check engine light wouldn't come on so we couldn't figure out what was wrong.
I bought a computer program and a cable for my laptop to live view all the sensors. With the program running every time I drove it the POS finally stalled and I saw on the laptop the cam position sensor was stuck. After a period of time I would unstick itself. Replaced the sensor and immediately sold the car to some poor shmuck.

I traded my older model Frontier for one of the new body style when they first came out. It was the first nissan pickup with a proper engine. The 4.0 liter V6 with the 6 speed manual really impressed me. Surprisingly quick little truck.

$85K and it was nice
Good heavens we are still in a muscle bubble
I was looking at one of those back in the early 2000s. Mint condition restore and less than $20,000.
Last week came across some Gen 1 Camaros. Good looking 68 SS/RS convertible, wanted $20K - check it out and it still needed door panels, carpet, paint and engine/trans.
