I’m smelling lawsuit.
Nah, the only thing that upset me was that while HR was terminating me, the CEO was on the phone calling vendors (perspective employers in my opinion) that I had been let go. Haven’t figured that one out yet. She even called the former CEO...who hired me but has nothing to do with the company any longer and told him.

You'll be obsolete one day

Go Pro on deer. Lazy things don’t have a job. Just walk around all day. Might as well get something out of the lazy mooches.

Probably. LOL. The video department was in house since 1998. Out sourced doesn’t always mean out of the country.

Can’t do it before I’m out the door

So this will be the new “should have learned to weld”?
Can’t wait for y’all to beat that dead horse.

Outdoor Videography. Yes, I’ve been very blessed and fortunate.
Start your own hunting and fishing show.

I can’t begin to tell you how difficult it is to make a living doing that these days. The internet destroyed outdoor television.
It’s okay, things change.

John Jackson does pretty well for himself. He sold his show to Discovery Channel.

I'm guessing they are contracting it out.
If so....any thoughts of starting your own company and doing it.

Wish you the best in finding new work.
I left a stable city job after 20 years and my son was killed with the same city department.
Worked full time at a side gig selling and repairing lawn mowers which just kept growing. Been doing it over 20 years and trying to retire just hard to leave doing what Karma meant for me to do.

So what are you going to do when the money runs out? Find a company where that position still exists?

Not sure I want to make that type of investment at my age. I’ve got some good friends who have been in this business almost as long as myself and they are struggling in the outdoor genre these days. I’m not really qualified to do any other types of production.
