Pornography addiction: anyone here overcome it or have experience?

This is not about me (ha ha yeah right). I know someone who is going through a very hard time trying to handle this. I've done some research and seen that most psychological therapy ends up unsuccessful. It seems the brain is wired in a way that the chemicals released with this problem are similar to a physical addiction. Any honest, no bullshite insight?

From what I have heard porn addiction is legit and can dominate someone's life. I wish your friend the best of luck with his treatment.

Addictions have some commonalities, deciding you want a different life would be the start and then acting on that. Disconnecting the IT is a solid idea or some other limiting device on the options available on the internet that truly were limiting would be a good start.
