Oh no doubt. I love the nuance and matching flavors with the dishes I cook. I just think some people are bullshitting, and the snobbery some get about it is...pathetic.

It’s wine, it’s life, it’s love. We are meant to enjoy it, not scoff at someone for enjoying it wrong.

Yeah when it's $9/lb

The wind blew out of the NW for six days this winter gonna have to bump that to $9.25/lb to combat the effects of crawfish having to filter air from that region.

That is cool ... so you are able to discern if it is fruity, spicy, etc. Can you discern which spices, fruits, etc.?

I wouldn't take a bite of crawfish if you paid me $100.

I’ll go right along with this to say Tom Brady. Not even football related but girls go gaga for him. I’ve never found him attractive.

Well...yeah. So much that goes into a bottle of wine, especially the barrel aged ones.

Oh...but for wine people...Have any of y’all ever seen the wine episode of black books?

Just don’t find him attractive. Apparently you do?

I don’t date anybody.

Winston has a man crush too

I understand that I am in the minority here but I thought it was just with girls.

It's tough to appreciate wine until you do a big wine tastings or go to Napa. Having some wine from a bottle or two every now again doesn't really give you a good place to start from.

Even after getting into wine, the $25-40 is probably a good sweet spot for excellent, 2-3 bottles/week wine. You don't need $100 bottles, all of the time. And there are some good sub-$10 wines that are perfectly fine, they are just more rare.
