WTF is this company doing? The entire executive team at Popeyes should be fired for allowing their franchises to do this.

I passed by a Popeyes the other day that had a big “No Tabs” sign taped to the window.
I guess some of their patrons requested to have a personal line of credit at the establishment.

I think the idea is they will steal your CC#. Even the ones you hand them your card does anyone thing a cashier at Popeye's is going to memorize a 16 digit number along with the expiration and CVV.

I'll acknowledge that I really don't know what I'm talking about, but I always thought it cost the vendor a small fee to process the CC transaction. If 90% of the recent transactions are for a $3.99 sandwich, then maybe they are taking a bigger hit on fees than they are comfortable.
All of that said to say......Cash only should be temporary.

My wife picked us up sandwiches for dinner this evening. She said the line wasn't bad but they fricked up the order and she had to go through it twice
