Recent purchases/gifts:

Dri-fit type:

Rhoback: Heavier fabric. Higher price than others.

Michael Rouen: Fabric similar to Rhoback, but not as expensive.

Callaway: Fit is more slim than others. Fabric is good.

M Maelreg: Nice feel and great for golf, but first shirt is starting to fade on collar. Price low, but quality may not be there long-term.

Greg Norman: New to me, but nice so far.

Grand Slam: Nice fabric and good fit for a bargain brand.

Brooks Brothers: Nice light fabric, but the fabric tends to stretch out and isn't nice after that.

Cotton:

Tommy Hilfiger: Nice so far, but sleeves are shorter than I like.

YMMV.

I just wear my 10+ year old Ralph Lauren small horse

ETA: I’m not a fan of most of the dry fit fabrics, I have one that I like from Nike, but I don’t like most of the Nike dry fit shirts.

Tommy Bahama makes a nice shirt. I bit on the pricey side but have lasted me a while. They make heavier ones, but these are light weight and cool:

Brooks brothers

Keep it simple. They are what polo used to be.

They start to stink after a couple of hours.

My advice: go to the mall and see which fits you best and looks best. Department stores carry various brands. Pay full retail for the one you like, then buy more later.

For instance, I wanted to like Southern Tide but material is too thin. I wear Polo because they have tall sizing for my long torso.
