That is exactly the case with Islam.
20% of American Muslims support acts of violence against civilians. That's in America, where we can think for ourselves. Imagine what that number is in the ME.

It's time for Islam to stand against the radical side. Every now and then they do something but the media doesn't really report it either. Islam has a major problem and they don't see it. Why are all these young kids going over to the radical side? Personally I believe low education and being poor is a big part of it.

Even if they somehow call their warped views, Christian. The rest of the religion condemns them.
Islamic leader/cleric quotes denouncing violence and terrorism of any kind
quote:
We condemn, in the strongest terms, the incidents, which are against all human and Islamic norms. This is grounded in the Noble Laws of Islam which forbid all forms of attacks on innocents. God Almighty says in the Holy Qur’an: ‘No bearer of burdens can bear the burden of another’ (Surah al-Isra 17:15).”
The issue is the crazy radicals make up their own definition of innocents.

The statistics say you're wrong, and the silence from muslim leaders in the west say you're wrong.

Neo Nazis and the KKK use the Bible (misinterpreted) as their base. You cannot join the KKK and NOT be a christian man who has accepted Jesus as your lord and savior. I think you have to be white, Caucasian as well.
The KKK used Christianity more for window dressing than anything else. The closest thing I could compare it to would be KKK = Taliban or KKK=PLO, but even that overstates the Christianity motives for the KKK.

The Nazi's were heavy into the occult. They stole their logo from an eastern religion for fricks sake.

Well I rarely see any "moderate" Western Muslims come forward and say that they don't agree with the radicals, so what does that tell me?
I think we've reached a boiling point with them and things are going to get ugly.

Thats the BIGGEST part of it. They are raised in the caliphate and know NOTHING outside of how to use force/fear to get what you want. How to be hypocritical, controlling etc.
Not to mention how they treat women.

A 2013 Pew Research Center poll asked Muslims around the world whether attacks on civilians were justified. Globally 72% of Muslims said violence against civilians is never justified, and in the US, 81% of Muslims opposed such violence. About 14% of Muslims in the nations surveyed (and 8% of Muslims in the US) said violence against civilians is "often" or "sometimes" justified. 26% of Muslims in Bangladesh believe attacks are either somewhat justified or often justified, 18% in Malaysia, 7% in Iraq, 15% in Jordan, 29% in Egypt, 39% in Afghanistan and 40% in the Palestinian territories. [30][31][32] The survey did not include some Muslim nations, such as Iran, Saudi Arabia, Algeria, Yemen, Syria, and Libya, but did include densely populated Muslim countries such as Pakistan, Turkey, Egypt, Nigeria and Indonesia.[33]

There are many, many more scholarly papers and studies besides this one.
Mine wasn't a paper. It was direct, publicly made statements from Muslim leaders across the world.

Too little, too late IMO. Islam is running wild right now and a one-sentence quote isn't enough to stop it.

This does happen, but the distinction between radicalism and moderates in Islam is more blurred than in other faiths.
There are a number of Muslim states where the distinction between state and religion is similarly blurred. The same just isn't true for other religions. It's a different paradigm, and the comparisons are difficult. Nonetheless, the moral equivocations are weak and pretty easily dispensed with.
