NBC News story

Another day, another pitbull attack.

Waiting for the trashy "breed of peace" and "the breed isn't naturally aggressive" people to show up.

We need to join the rest of the western world and ban pit bulls. You can be outright jailed in some European nations if they find this breed on your property

Those seem to be the most unstable breed. They can attack w/o provocation.

Maybe a pet tiger or lion is a better choice. One expects those to kill.

The dog turned on its owner and she had to have 180 stitches, so there is a little karma here.

I'd buy a pitbull puppy but after a year or two, I'd throw it off a bridge. Then just repeat the process.

With out question the most unstable breed. Had one attack me 2 years ago. Was literally just out for a run and ran by this house at the same time this woman was opening her door to take out the trash. Dog busted out and came after me, lunged at me and got my calf. Somehow was able to pick it up, slam it on the ground, and laid on it with my forearm on its neck until more help got there. Memphis has a 2 strike rule for most of these situations, so them damn thing was taken in and kept for observation for a week, then given back to the owners. Owners paid me a nice little check, and my calf looks like a shark bit it now; all bc I was running by that house at that time.

Bruh if you go on some of the animal subreddits they are everywhere. "I knew people that had pit bulls and they were huge cuddle monsters." etc

If dachsunds had the same temperament, nobody would care. When will people learn that it's the dog's CAPACITY to inflict harm that is the key?

Also, from a purely aesthetic standpoint, they look fricking evil. I'm not sure what the appeal is, but they are EVERYWHERE now.

Just imagine if a chihuahua had the size and strength of a pit bull.

Also, frick pit bulls and their owners.

I went to a public animal shelter a couple of months ago. I’d conservatively guess that 85%-90% of that pound’s total animal population, was pit bulls.
That tells me one of two things: Pits are harder to assimilate into a household and are harder to control and maintain, so people realize this and give them up for adoption.....OR......irresponsible, stupid people naturally prefer pits. I guess it could be both.

We should outlaw breeding pit bulls. That way, people who love their pits get to keep them, but no new ones are introduced.

Owners were probably in jail for meth, crack and burglary.

I would say most owners I've met have a rap sheet

I think a Heiana would make a safer pet.

If I was in a room with a gun with 3 bullets, Toby, 1 pitbull, and Hitler, I would shoot the pitbull 3 times.
