Police shoot criminal, accidentally shoot police K-9, then shoot criminal's pit bull.

Video (synced to when the actions starts)
Oroville, California.
Criminal has multiple officers with M4s pointed at his car. Guy pops out car with a device that looks like a gun and is lit up.
During the shooting, a police K-9 runs to the suspect and is accidentally shot by officers. You can see the handler in distress and doubling over. I feel so bad for the guy.
Then, the criminal's degenerate pit bull runs out the car and starts eating and chewing the wounded and dying K-9's body and is rightfully lit up for police and killed.
RIP to the K-9 unit.
Correction: The K-9 "Bandit" was accidentally shot by police, but didn't die instantly. Degenerate pit bull was attacking and chewing on the K-9 when it was justifiably and rightfully shot and killed.

The official police report will say the pit shot the k9 and the cops shot the pit.

The pit deserved to get shot.

I saw your "Darth Maul" picture right after I read this and I had to hold back my laughter in class.

Maybe the K9 was sniffing around the department too much. Putting his nose where it didnt belong.

Or the k9 fricked his partners wife...?

That was the poorest handling of a stand off situation I have ever seen. WAAY too many guns out to deal with for one fricking a-hole.
At start of video it was ridiculous that they didn’t box in his car with cop vehicles after the first minute or two.
At the roadside stop there should have been a rifle at 8:00 and 4:00 to deal with the perp with a max of three duty pistols covering 7-5. Why the handler sent the K9 is a mystery with all the loose cannons there. If he was to be sent you have the bulk of the cops put there guns at the ready and not at the perp to protect the K9 from exactly what happened.....with a long gun at 8 to protect the k9 if the guy shoots at him.
Possibly have the long gun take out the pitbull with a clean shot and then send the K9.
Either way that was a total cluster-f the way it was handled IMHO

Easy there Captain Commando. It was a spur of the moment roadside confrontation with officers from multiple agencies. The opportunities to organize it weren’t plentiful.

Oh wow, you totally sound like a police expert.

Lots of comments after the video praising the pit bull for "protecting" its master.
