Maybe it's a black thing then? I was pretty sure they got rid of stewards sometime after WWII.

Obviously it is YOU who have an issue with racism and prejudice. Just bc Tbird sees the idiocy in some of the statements you have made, and he happens to be black, you refer to him as "Tom".
Quite ironic of him, considering how many black folks hate to get lumped into the worst of behaviors. Now they can't even voice their own opinions without it being approved by the official arbitrators of "blackness."

LSU_S_H prefers the term, "flight attendant"

According to noted racial savant LSU_S_H, this hasn't happened since the 80s

well what would you call someone that doesn't comply in this day and age?
how many videos does a moron need to see to convince them that complying might be their best chance of not getting killed?

Hearing disabilities and mental disabilities, among others, I'm sure. I just don't know why some have such a problem with asking agents of the state that are able to exercise discretionary authority to take someone's life to be held to a higher standard than a civilian.

We need to get VERY FAR away from the notion that police officers killing citizens is acceptable simply because they didn't do what the officer told them to do.
That comply or die is so widely acceptable to be is just beyond maddening. Wake the frick up

Sad statement. Comply or die.
We have laws to protect us from abuses of government. I don't trust government. If a cop wants to come into your home and search without a warrant, will you comply?

When they have zero probable cause to detain the man based upon all these details. No crime was committed and yet they tased and killed the man

Yup.. How about this.. there's a ton of cops.. initially 2 i think.. then 4..
Well the moment he starts walking away.. and he has his hands up but he keeps walking away.. go get him.. secure him.
Or, I know this will be absolutely crazy to everyone.. is there any other type of weapon that could be made or used to secure a person safely from a medium to short distance.. Again, I know it's crazy.. but just exploring any other possible avenues here. I know tasers don't always work.. What about some sort of net you can cast haha.. or rope the individual..
Again, I know I am being ridiculous but I'm just grasping for some sort of other alternatives.. I understand complying is the best method.. but you do have mentally or physically disabled people who may not be able to comply exactly how you demand who don't deserve to be killed.

It's not even that. Nowhere in an officer's job description are they tasked with killing citizens. Quite the opposite actually.
"He walked away when I told him to walk towards me" is NOT justification for killing the person. Why in the world do so many people think it is?

Cops asking a suspect to comply in the streets is not the same as a cop wanting to come in your home and search without a warrant
