How is that moronic? If you already have the notion that blacks are scary and immediately view them as a threat, why would you police them? How could you justifiably handle that pressure without killing someone who does not deserve to be killed, but because of your fear you ACCIDENTALLY shoot them.

The messed up thing about the "just comply" logic is that it means we live in a world where the cops showing up to anything immediately makes the situation more shitty than it already is. It sucks enough that your car broke down. Now four people have shown up to "help," who could kill you at any moment anything that you do, or they perceive that you do, isn't 100% in line with exactly what they want you to do, no matter how well they are at communicating what they want you to do.
If you think this is as simple as "just obey," and are blaming this guy for this incident, then I really don't know what to say to you.
