Police investigating "Tumblr Bomber" behind NYC explosions last night

Police are “vetting” a Tumblr account that surfaced early Sunday taking credit for the Chelsea bombing — and threatening further action, a police source told The Post.

The posting is one of several that is being “looked at” by investigators, another law-enforcement source said.

An individual claiming to the be 'the NY bomber' announced on a blog that they had bombed Manhattan Saturday in response to 'LGBTQ+ oppression' and that more bombs would follow.
'I don't know exactly how I feel about taking human lives,' begins a post titled 'Taking a human life.' 'However, what I do know is that if I don't do what needs to be done nobody will pay attention.'

I was reading comments on an other news source. They were saying this area is one of a relatively high gay population. Thus it wouldn't be a very good target to avoid gay victims.
