Guy stabbed a man in the gut 5 years ago and was arrested for assault last month. Released from jail because of over crowding.
They harassed a different girl at the bar that was with the victims. She is not the girl in the photo. They were told to leave then waited outside the bar for a while for victims to leave and jumped them.
Dozens of witnesses.

The other families are well off too. This is an area you would never expect an ex con to stab a bunch of people as bars let out. I’ve been there at 3 AM plenty of times, just a bunch of Vandy kids or mid 20s folks with jobs having fun.
Pretty fratty with plenty of tools, but harmless tools. A couple older awesome bars there too.

Yeah, definitely a strange area for a bunch of felons to be hanging. Me and the wife used to be regulars down there. Red Door, losers, rebar. Our favorite bar, Soulshine, was located where the current dogwood(where the attack occurred) is. We haven't been down there much since Soulshine closed.
I hope they give this bitch the chair.

my son is teammates with the younger brother of the other boy who died. Just a terrible story. I'm not sure as a family how you recover from this - Christmas for sure will never be the same for them. Such a pointless loss.
