Would you? At least if you look at more recent statistics? I only ask because a lot of countries are moving to ban the breed entirely; therefore, any numbers tied to pit bull deaths would be declining. This also shows just how dangerous/deadly certain breeds are, and I think would support your position even if hippos have more totals that pitbulls in recent years.

With that said, hippos are not evenly distributed across the globe. Majority of the species living in the wild would be limited to African nations.

I responded to a post that included mosquitos. Do mosquitos kill due to direct attacks? Why wouldn't I include rabies deaths for dogs when responding to a post that highlighted mosquitos?

I’m attacking your position of pitbulls killing more people than hippos, not you or your character. The context of the thread was about animals hunting people. Maybe shouldn’t have called you an idiot and I can apologize for that. So, I’m sorry for calling you an idiot.

Running to safety is the smart play there, if you are that guy. “Stand and fight” is a last resort. Kinda careless of him to drop the rifle…but I get it,…he was just trying to not get eaten. I have faced some scary things in my life. I still find it hard to imagine what it must be like to have a hungry polar bear chasing you. Who’s to say he didn’t take a shot earlier, before the video starts? Polar bears aren’t going down easy. It’s not like shooting a deer…and even deer are sometimes hard to drop.

Yeah not really sure how anyone can say he didn't make the right move here. If he turns to try and get a shot off that bear will be on him in only a few seconds he better be damn sure he gets a good shot off to take it down which is way harder than people think.

He probably gets eaten if he goes that route here
