It's a popular thing for that age.
He will outgrow the cards soon, or at least mine did. Mine played the Nintendo ds games as well.

He didn't mention Pokémon until the new Pokémon GO just came out which is freaking adults playing

My son started collecting Pokémon cards at age five. He's ten now and has several thousand of these from all over the world and lots of very rare and sought after cards. He has earned close to $15,000 selling and trading online, and he has a gaming following on Twitch and on YouTube. My wife owns an Internet marketing firm and is helping him build his business and branding.

Nothing wrong with your son getting into Pokémon.

apparently, you have no idea about the Pokemon market. I didn't either, at first.

My son is enamored with Oso, stops everything when he is on. I can tolerate it other than questioning how a retarded bear became a special agent in the first place.

My 4 year old is into this now. We watch it on Netflix sometimes. I can't believe how many different power ranger versions they had.

jungle fury, RPM, wild force, mega force, super megaforce, dino superchargers, turbo, SPD......

I was a thundercats/Voltron guy myself with a little knight rider mixed in..

We replied to an ad in Craigslist one day. A woman was cleaning out her son's room (who was away at college at UT). Her son had been collecting since he was 8 years old. She sold me a collection of cards numbering close to 800 for $50.

I bet we made almost $5000 from that cache of treasure, alone. I bet her son was incredibly pissed off when he came home and his mom said, "Surprise! I cleaned and organized your room for you."

That is the perfect reaction when I mistakenly confuse a "pup"....my daughter looses her shite. This one is representative of her reaction as well...
