Oh. I like that. Alot.

I carry this. Kids got it for me when I lost (now found) the Old Timer my grandfather gave me that he bought for me the day I was born. I open letters with it. I don't have a fancy letter opener and don't pawn off the task to the secretary.

The Opinel's are also only like $20.

All I did was simply point out that not everyone needs to carry a knife everyday at all times and people came in saying people that do that must be a fairy and gent manicures and blah blah blah. I don't care if you do or not, but walking around like having a knife in your is some badge of honor is retarded. Congrats

You seem to be somewhat judgmental and quite triggered over something you couldn't care less about, Your Honor. It'll be okay.

Curds I have a Spyderco SALT that’s my kayak carry. Great freakin knife.

Unfortunately i work at a place where i can’t practically carry a knife every day, so I’ve gotten out of the habit of doing so. When i was still in construction my EDC typically was my Benchmade Mini Grip or one of those $9 Gerber folders you put the razor knife blades in. On field days I’d carry my Leatherman Wave.

I have a Spyderco Para 2 and a Native 5 I rotate thorough when I’m out and about but I’ll typically come back to my Mini Grip. I need to send it off for the Lifesharp servicing. If you own a Benchmade and haven’t taken advantage of that, do so immediately.

Yellow Case sod buster jr. Been having it for years. Only drawback blade doesn’t lock.

If you like the sod buster, check out the Smith and Sons mudbug. They are almost identical, with a carbon steel blade, micarta handle, and have the locking feature. You will probably have to get on a waiting list unless you can find one on ebay.

I bill at more than several hundred dollars an hour, why would I waste time putting a chair together or some other task that would require a knife when I could make money and I already pay someone to do it anyway?

I know guys who carry pocket knives you'd have to work a full day to afford. They make lots of money yet still manage to do things for themselves (which is kinda how they made themselves wealthy in the first place). Just accept your ignorance and move on.

You probably aren't as much dumb as much as lacking as broad an education as you'd like to imagine you possess.

Thanks for the info. I’ll definitely check out the mud bug. In fact I’ll do it now.
ETA Those are really nice. Well made and probably last forever. Would make a great keepsake to pass down.
Must be very popular being they are so hard to find.

I've cut more things by far with my old Ladybugs than any other knife, for the simple reason that it is so small it's super easy to have on me all the time. I prefer a locking blade, and I like a half-serrated edge, although knife people seem to think that's amateur hour.

IIRC I think I even had one on me when I went to the White House (during the Clinton administration). I was surprised they didn't take it away, but a Ladybug is so friendly and unthreatening. And Clinton was home at the time. After the tour, I saw him leave the White House, get on Marine One, and take off. That was pretty damn cool.

Crazy how similar the selection choices are. I almost bought a Benchmade mini Griptilian instead of my Spyderco dragonfly 2 salt. For multi tools I only own one and it's a Leatherman surge and I was really really close to buying the wave instead.
