Anyone ever tell Popeye's "No" when they ask you to pull up?

I've never understood how a place that only serves chicken, never has enough chicken ready to serve to its customers.

I have, but I'm afraid they'll do something to my food. It seems like they're always waiting on biscuits at the Popeye's I go to in Thibodaux.

Jack in the Box on Florida will tell you to back up and drive right back to the window. I tell them that my transmission is out and I can't go in reverse.

Hopefully that lessens the amount of spit ingested.

I have gotten free shite at Taco Bell once and Popeyes once for having to reset the timer.

I just said "god damn im in a hurry, throw me an extra piece/taco in there"

I've got no problem pulling up if it means they can serve the person behind me faster. If it somehow takes my order longer and I can help out fellow customers, I understand. But when I'm the only car there, I've told them no before. Like others have said, it's a way to scam the system and make it look like they are performing well. If we continue to let them do it, owners aren't going to do anything to make sure the service is better. For the time being the shift managers are the ones allowing this to happen. And they certainly don't care

Jack in the Box on highland used to be awful for this. And there were always beggars waiting for you. I'd tell them "too many homeless people asking me for change. I'll move up if someone comes up behind me."

My grandmother has done this at Burger King 3 or 4 times over the years. She pays for her Whopper Jr (hold something) and then they ask her to pull up. She tells them "no" and then they get pissy with her. Every time she has demanded a refund and drives off without a whopper Jr.

She then calls the hotline and complains to them and they assure her that this is unacceptable and will be taken care of immediately. Usually she speaks with a regional manager because she is demanding, old, and grouchy (but I love her all the same).

Every time it's the same way. Gam Gam just wants her whopper Jr without having to pull up.

If you are getting a tailgating package, get the hell out of the car and go inside. How lazy are you?! Six different people could have gotten served their four pieces and been on their way while your lazy self can't even be bother to walk 15 feet?

frick that. They have it on the drive thru window order screen. If they can't have 25 pieces cooked at peak dinner/lunch hrs, then they need to change something.

It's ALL they cook! The line is wrapped around the building, so wait times are alreafy longer than usual.

So tell me oh wise one, why should I go inside and make those customers wait longer? Will the 25 piece cook quicker?

Makes zero sense. If you can't have it cooked, take it off the drive thru order screen!

I never move from the window. It gets me my food much faster than pulling up.

You're not too bright. You can simply step to the side when you're inside and let the next person order... Whereas in the drive-thru, you're blocking other cars from ordering, paying and getting their food.

Plus canes isn't the fastest because they actually cook your food as you order. They're not allowed to serve you room temperature food that's been sitting out.

I knew exactly what you were talking about before I clicked the thread. This is why I stopped going to BK. It happened every time.
