People always joked they "read" the articles, but I actually did enjoy reading it

The monthly interviews were always great.I used to have a big compilation issue of nothing but the interviews and the had some of the biggest names of the time.

The Playboy Interview was the shite.

Cheech & Chong and Hollywood Henderson were really good interviews.

Shel Siverstein's work with PLayboy was iconic.

Cathy St. George - August 1982 was the hottest woman that ever breathed a breath of fresh air.

Finding a father’s stash of Playboys was a rite of passage. One more thing being taken away from children by society. :(

Not surprising. Playboy was Hef and Hef was Playboy. It was already sick when he was still alive. It was doomed after he died.

He could've been immortal and the internet was still gonna kill Playboy magazine.

Featuring/promoting trannies was what killed them, at least IMO. This was THE magazine (and could have been a leading website) for red-blooded hetero males. They tried to get out of their lane, with catastrophic results.
...Now that I think about it, elderly Hugh Hefner:Playboy as Senile Uncle Joe:USA, if he were to ever actually get elected.

So if your grandmother was in Playboy, and I was in your grandmother...by the transitive property that means I was in Playboy!

IMHO, Playboy may have a shot at making it as a conservative/libertarian on-line magazine featuring some nudes and some negligee. Nothing that would be technically pornography, which I would define as images depicting people engaging in sex acts.

I think that there are some thoughtful gentlemen that would like to avoid pornography and return to the days when plain nudity was acceptable.

I bought the bound Playboy: The Complete Centerfolds (1953 to 2016) a while back. Interesting retrospective of the change of the female form (and what was considered the ideal) over time.

Today I watched a free 15 minute video compilation of hot Asian chicks swallowing hundreds of loads. How can Playboy ever compete

My dad never had Playboy. He was a loyal Penthouse man.

Didn't his son resign to join the Air Force? I think that says it all...

What about buying it from a gas station while still under 18.

I remember my grandfather's stack of Playboys behind the toilet in his room. Barbie Benton. Dorothy Stratten. Oh the times we had.

How often would you have jacked off to a Playboy if you had Pornhub? I am pretty sure I would never have even thought about an actual skin mag with a world of free porn around when I was younger. Haven't bought or looked at a PB in years.

Playboy should have a huge web presence. Their tv shows are pretty great and have a ton of potential. But they all fizzle out. Foursome was getting great. But they just stopped making it. I can't imagine how much content/BTS material they have. Supposedly Hefner's private vault would have put Epstein's to shame. There is a goldmine there. Someone like Bangbros, RK or Brazzers is going to make a mint once they take them over..
