Why is it people feel the need to screw the lid back on after every sip?

You mean like Joe Burrow?
Plastic pollution at it finest. Can anybody just get a glass of water from the tap anymore?

If you aren't going to put the cap on, shouldn't you just be using a cup? I thought the purposes of a bottle was that it had a cap

We saw some recently that the lid snaps on vs Screws

Any of it is personal preference, so sure it’s okay. I just think it’s unnecessary and largely inexplicable.
If you are eating a Big Mac, do you close up the box after every bite? No. So why the water/Coke bottle?

No...Because, If I did eat Big Macs, I would believe they wouldn't get knocked over easily like a drink bottle...

1. So it doesn’t spill
2. Because then I’d have to keep the cap somewhere - hmm, the top of the bottle seems like a great place.

9/10 times I’m not drinking the whole bottle at once. If I’m eating a hamburger I’m not stopping until it’s gone.
