Anyone ever heard any stories about a plantation and hauntings off gum swamp? Maybe Miller Road or Walls Bayou road? Looking for any info I can get. TIA.

There have been tales of haunted meth labs in that area, yes.

lol

Start snooping around people’s land around there at night and you’ll become a ghost real quick

ETA: I grew up around there - not really any stories legit like that. Just a lot of Indian burial sites in the woods

The road we were on was gravel, no homes or anything. Took a left off gum swamp. There was a bayou to the left and in front of us. Had to turn around. Recorded some crazy shite.

Backstory...friend of mine has always had a “gift” knows when someone is going to die. Can see spirits etc. (I didn’t believe all this until she did a reading with my grandmothers picture and told me things she couldn’t have known)
This friend and a few other people went out to this spot last year and had some demonic things happen to her. (Eyes went black, the ground was shaking)

We went out there this weekend and walked around with a recorder, she was talking to “Peter” the evil entity that she encountered the last time she was there. We didn’t stay long and after we got back in the car we replayed the audio and 2 separate times there is a male voice whispering “die bitch die”. Now if I wasn’t literally with her the whole time I wouldn’t believe it but I was with her and there isn’t any other explanation. She said sometimes you can hear kids playing and laughing out there too but I was scared shitless and GTFO of there.

Grew up around there and actually lived on that road for a while when I first got married. Never heard of a plantation there. I will say living there was eerie. Found a lot of arrowheads and such. Some spooky things happened like lights turning on by themselves and things like that. Most things could be explained away, and I don’t really believe in that stuff. Unknownknight is right though, don’t go snooping around out there, you will end up shot with a quickness. That is prime baw country and they don’t like anybody on their land.

Someone has died and bad things have happened everywhere, if anywhere is haunted, everywhere is haunted.

Did you take any pictures while the strange occurrences were happening?

No ghost stories, but there was a plantation close by. It ran north from the Amite. Included most of the area surrounding Union Landing Road. So it may have encompassed some of Gum Swamp road.

I have a good friend who lives off that road. He mentioned an old plantation but never any ghost stories. The other comments are very accurate though, if you wander around back there uninvited you will almost surely be confronted and made known not to let it happen again.
