The kids want to goto Six Flags in Atlanta and they want to check out the College Football Hall of Fame and they want to do Stone Mountain.

They pickled this over Orlando.

I just like the fact that they want to go hiking and camping at Stone Mountain.

Anyways, I haven’t been to Six Flags in probably 10+ years and have heard it has turned into a total shithole.

I hear the wooden scream machine coast is actually not safe anymore

I just don’t want to spend a lot of money to have a miserable day with the family

A cathedral tour of Europe is a great way to culture your children.

The Progressives want to have Stone Mountain erased. Go while you can.

5 days in Atlanta sounds miserable.

Take them to DC where they can actually learn something

Six Flags in Atlanta

While in Atlanta, ride the MARTA.

They’ll see Atlanta in a whole different light, or in this case, dark.

Go to Busch Gardens in Williamsburg. Beautiful park. Then you can go to Colonial Williamsburg just a couple of miles away where the kids can learn some history in person. Then it's less then 2 hours to DC where you can tour the museums and the Zoo.

Done the one in Dallas recently. It is not super nice you can tell the place has some age on it. It is not Disney if that is what you mean but the rides are fun for the kids and wait times were not near as long as Disney either. Overall we had a good experience but bathroom were not as clean as they could be but not gross but not actually surprised by that either. Again not paying for Disney will get you not Disney.

If you go to Atlanta, make sure you do the Georgia Aquarium.

Also, just for fun, go to the original Chick-Fil-A. It is called the Dwarf House and is more like a diner than a fast food restaurant.

It has. Staffed straight from Atlanta. Took my kid there a few years ago and damn near got into a fight with one of the thugs running a ride. a-hole was being rude as frick to everyone. Being the redneck that I am. I called him on it.

I will never spend another penny at Six Flags.

Go to Kentucky Kingdom in Louisville instead. It is a former Six Flags and is staffed by people who know how to act civilized.
