All really good points. Investigators have their hands full. Curious of ATC transmissions as well.

Where'd it crash?

At the crash site.

Yep. They beat the paramedics there by a half hour...

I don't think this is accurate. I think the Align Aviation is alluding to the Owners dental/orthodontics and/or spine rehab practice in Houston.

It appears the plane was just registered to this LLC in September, so likely a new pilot.

He filed flight plans to land at the "Stafford Airport" in Cankton. Which looking at aerials, is nothing more than a strip for crop dusters.

Flight radar 24 shows his destination was LFT (Lafayette regional). Maybe I misread it

I believe flight radar is wrong. Flight aware shows that airport, and if you look where the plane was making its decent, it is right over that strip.

Not much. It was on Social Media. Apparently owned by someone local. Including speculation that the plane, Cirrus (sp?), has a parachute system.

Dr. John Stafford's private airport. We have a couple of those private airstrips around here, like Tim Bullard Memorial Airport in Arnaudville.

Congrats. You are first to report. With absolutely zero information.

What is your source that he has zero information?

the crash site is approx. 3 miles north of Kartchners and The Best Stop on Hwy 93. There's a roundabout with a Dollar General and a Family Dollar at WGS & 93.... My daughter lives a 1/2 mile from said area. "Stafford Airport" details - Cankton is 3 miles north of the crash site.

Knew the guy piloting that one. Worked for Lasalle Management out of Ruston. They think he may have had a heart attack or other medical condition. Terrible. He crashed on approach. Hit the tree line coming into RSN.

Sorry to hear this.

A family we hunt with has a son who is a pilot and lives in Ruston, it got me wondering.

His post was the source jackass.

In his haste to be the first to report the news he could have waited 15 minutes with some details. He later edited his post.
