Places to get a spare remote car lock?

I bought a used truck a while back and only got one key and remote lock from the owner. I recently realized the only way to unlock the truck is with the remote lock. The actual key won’t work manually.
I guess if my battery ever goes dead in the remote I am just f’ed. Where do I get a spare remote lock made?

Yeah should be able to find the fob online, then I think Ace hardware is able to program, they might even be able to make the 2nd key but might be more expensive.
So the key does not manually open the door? both doors?

I just bought two replacement remote fobs for my Tahoe on Amazon for $19 and with them came a website address that that showed me how to program them for your specific make and model, at no cost. Took five minutes-tops. A dealership would have charged over $100, easy.

Thanks for the info - called and he got me fixed up with a programmed remote and key for a LOT less than the dealership.

It was for my daughter’s car which is a push button start. For the fob, with the straight door key insert, and the programming it was $220. It took three days for the fob to get in, and I’d guess it took ~20 minutes to program.
ETA: I went to the dealership first, and they quoted me $475.
