The skating rink way down Florida right before you cross into LP.

I think it is/was a mattress place now.

I remember going to Leo's Roller Rink behind Cortana mall. They had an ice skating rink back there too.

Also going bowling at Circle Bowl when they had their all you can bowl special from midnight to 4am on Fri and Sat nights. Good times.

Things from my childhood like Catfish Town, FunFair, and oh hell, what was the Gas Station that had the jet fighter plane on the roof? I think it was off Sherwood

that was two awesome summers in High School

one of the other employee's lived in Belaire
we hung out at their house and watched the 84 olympics and got drunk

made out with a girl at the water slide during a lock-in, she was on the dance team at Belaire, wish I could remember her name

I remember the old Leo's in the hood on North Street. Must have closed around the late 70s and back then they would still give you skates that had to have been in use since the 50s. It was badass with the old hardwood roller rink, though.

Not a house. It was the old collegetown grocery. I remember the grocery store when it was open. Mike bought it and opened his MA's college town seafood.

Didn't Baton Rouge have a Western Sizzlin?

Pretty sure it was at the current location of El Rancho on Florida near Sherwood. May have been a Bonanza before Western Sizzlin'. Took my home coming date freshman year of high school to Steak and Ale which was on the corner of Florida and Airline where the Asian strip mall is now.
