Many many nights I spent in that bar. Oh, the stories!

Our group of friends have a kind of short-hand nickname for so many memories in that place:

"Devil with a Blue Dress",
"The Night Renee Went Crazy",
"The Dancing Skank",
"Naked in the Rain",
"The Fight With Happy",
"Carl Gets Outted"
"True Colors"
"Ed's Parents Get Drunk"
"Blind Date From Hell"

You get the picture. A million memories, most of them happy!

Shoney's on Florida. So great for late night drunken breakfast.

There was a bar on North Flannery-my first night out when I turned 18. I remember the band playing, but not the name of the bar.

Happy Note

There was an RC shop and track across Florida from the broadmoor theater down the little dead end road next to Midas. I spent a lot of time and grass cutting money in that place. He had the biggest got damn tarantula in there that I am still scared to fricken death of 25-30 years later

place was called Loupes. I was the reigning Kyosho team winner there for 3 years running. Team Associated had Freddy Raphiano there who was good as well.

Larry K Sullivans Restaurant at Tom and Airline was always open late late on Friday & Saturday nights. We'd get done playing at Mike Burk's place or Holiday Inn South & go in there still in costume & raise hell.....Starting food fights......They had great steaks and some sort of killer fried biscuits/bread.

The Acadian Club on Jefferson Hwy we used to go down by Baton Rouge Country Club to Ricca Liquor to buy booze/beer. Think it was where Churchill's is now.

Leon's Pool Hall right across parking lot from Southdown's. Remember one night Danny Hester & L'il Apple Sanders having a great time trying to beat the crap out of each other in the parking lot.

We had a lot of good times in BR back in the day

Still miss Fairway View Club

A few years after I graduated from high school, I found out one of my old teachers (ex Golden Girl) was a coke whore that hung out there.

I started going there a little but never saw her.
