I ran over one on purpose couple years ago

On the short list of irrational fears I have when I move, moving next to neighbors with pits is one of them. I don't fear them for me, but for my pups and family. Fortunately it's never happened.

Here is the reality: if you take pitbulls out of the mix they will just be replaced by another breed and bred to be the same sort of assault dog. Whether you know it or not it is better to have angry pitbulls than angry Dogo Argentinos and Cane Corsos.
