Horrified? Really?

When granddaughter was a toddler, lived next door to people who owned two Pitt bulls. There was a chain link fence between dogs and granddaughter. When visiting one day, owners of the dogs were outside and I told them if anything happened to my granddaughter because of the dogs I would kill them. They moved out in the next few weeks.

people that know nothing about dogs or dog fights say stuff like this.

PS. it doesn't work. All you can do is pick up big back legs and walk him back, and wait for him to regrip.

A bucket of freezing cold ice water works sometimes too.

The best way is to not let this happen in the first place, but once he's latched on, you just gotta be patient and calm.
