Screw pit bulls but also screw taking your dog every damn place you go, especially if it might go ape shite and kill a baby or a beagle or attack an old person.

Should force the pitbull owner to personally "euthanize" their animal.

I'd love to march that frick to the top of a tall building and make him throw his POS off the roof. I wouldn't cry if his hand got tangled in the leash and pulled him over the edge with the dog.

Why in the frick would you own a dog you have to muzzle in public??

because they're amazing animals?

Dogs can't talk, FYI, so they communicate with their mouths. If you have a large breed that is capable of doing serious damage, and you want to take him places, muzzling is a good option.

I keep mine at home and in secluded places most of the time, but I've considered getting a muzzle just to be safe in populated areas.

Have you tried putting baby clothes on the possum?

That doesn't answer the question.

Why would you own an animal that you have to muzzle if you take it outside of the home?

What makes them “amazing” compared to a lab, golden retriever, or almost any other breed?

I have an American bulldog rescue. Some will put these in the same category as pit bulls.
Although, he has never shown any agression to us, I am fully aware of the potential of what he could do. Therefore, we keep him more or less isolated away from our other pets, and we make sure he can't get out.

You da real MVP. People just don't get it, and use coping mechanisms such as "stupid trash dog" to cope with what they do not understand.

Large, bull breeds are amazing creatures

He's a Staffordshire terrier rescue who's former owner beat, abused and left on the side of the road to die. I wouldn't give him up if you paid me.

well, you don't have to. But, with any dog you're not 100% sure all the time what they will do. And being that pits are typically more capable of inflicting more damage in a quick period, if you choose to take your pit places with other dogs and people, muzzling is a good option.

They are amazing animals. I love mine to death. I don't care that you're not ok with that

if you've ever seen one in action, I wouldn't have to answer this question. I have a golden/lab mix, and a pit. Both rescues. The pit submits to the golden for whatever reason, but as far as specimens go, it's no contest. The pit is like a superhero as far as abilities go

I’ve never met or seen a pit bull owner that wasn’t poor and/or trashy. You don’t see too many middle-upper class individuals walking their pit bulls. Usually have to have a tattoo as well.

Maybe your broke arse shouldn't live in a poor and trashy area. Pit bulls can be awesome pets. pure bred pits who have good blood lines will not attack anymore than the usual dogs. The problem is, there are far too many owners with bad intentions that have given the pure breeds a bad name
