I'm gonna go out on a limb here and provide a 3:45 clip of old home movies I found from 1947 that includes a look at LSU's campus, a little bit of footage of Mike I in his home, and a bit of footage from the Louisiana State Capitol grounds.
I believe that is Professor Murray Hawkins of the Dept. of Petroleum Engineering at about the 0:33 mark for a few seconds. Maybe one or two of you old LSU petroleum engineers could confirm this for me. He was Dad's favorite professor.
I hope y'all enjoy it. Feel free to bash me over the head and tell me to stick to still photos though, if that is what is preferred in this thread. However, I do hope y'all enjoy it.
