Had to do a quick search to find out more about him. After he was done he was credited with a total of 30 kills (27 in the air and 3 on the ground).
Sadly, he died in 1951 as a civilian in an airplane crash.

No, he was regular air force by then and died in a training accident in a T-33 crash new Andrews AF Base (Joint Base Andrews as it is known now), 1951.

My parents had one of these. They let me have it when I moved out. That mattress was the real deal. That sofa was unbelievably heavy.

We had those same monkey bars when I was in kindergarten, you were the king if you got to the top first and just stayed there till recess was over..
A kid fell from it and broke his arm, they were gone the next year...and replaced with one of these.
