Before alarm clocks, people known as Knocker-Ups would get paid to go around in the early hours of the morning and bang on windows to wake people up:

May 31, 1957 - Dad had just gotten home with his new Thunderbird.
(Had to post this after seeing that '59 model you posted, mauser. I'm surprised at how the color in the old Kodachrome slides has held up after nearly 70 years.)

I still have his car. It's going into the shop to be fully restored next week. I'm looking forward to driving it again. It'll go to my nephew when I'm gone. He's the only male carrying the family name in the next generation. The only rule is the 1958 LSU tag must remain on the front bumper, so he won't be allowed to change it so Mississippi State.

Slides retain color much better than prints.

I met Marguerite Churchill's son, Darcy, once. He was a teacher in Oklahoma, and eventually wrote a rather dirty fictional book about the early days of Hollywood.
That said, I'm not convinced the photo is of Churchill. She was a sort of short, demure ingenue type, and had a little overbite. Not prone to this kind of glamor-puss stuff. It really doesn't look like her. But, I admit, I've sometimes been fooled by a mountain of Max Factor and an atypical vampish presentation.

It is a promotional still from "Woman WIthout a Room"

Yep, that film became "Girl Without a Room" (1933). I have a bootleg copy of it. It's not a very good movie. But it does star Marguerite Churchill along with Charles Farrell. He's an artist who goes to study in Paris. Churchill looks nothing like that in the film, to put it mildly.
I've run into old movie stills like this, which will have a pin-up shot of some relatively minor actress/showgirl from the film. Sometimes there's a blurb on the back, identifying who she is. Sometimes not. Oftentimes on Ebay, I see sellers assuming the photo is of the film's leading lady. But it's quite occasionally not the case.
I have an old still from an Eddie Cantor movie, and it's a knockout portrait of one of the Goldwyn Girls. Beautiful gal, but doesn't identify her.
