I'm pretty sure it's a Bluebird KD (knock down) hoist. It's a good one that breaks down into 7 pieces, including the ram and handle.

i remember my dad, uncles and brothers in law setting aside entire weekends to do stuff like that. motor replacement, transmission replacement, rebuilds etc..
had to drive to the rental place and haul the hoist back to the house.

Very first place I ever had lobster. The year was 1971, I was three. I didn't like it. The shrimp was pretty awesome though.
As for Sambo's there on the coast - that was my favorite place to have breakfast when we would visit Biloxi during those summer trips to escape Kentucky and see family in south Mississippi and Louisiana. Still have an old menu from there as well as a comic book with the tigers chasing "little black Sambo" around a tree.
