I was in 8th grade at Chalmette Middle School the year the Beatles made their N.O. appearance at City Park.
I can vividly remember all the girls in class leading up to that concert being all giddy and acting like young teenage girls often do. And they weren't any better when they came to class after the concert------actually worse with all the shrieking and recounting their experience.
