There was a Sambo's in Auburn at one time. I believe it was later turned into a Shoney's. The food was decent.

Nope, that would be a corset that can be pulled tight much like you would shoe laces with a dozen or so pairs or eyelets in the back that a long lace runs through.
Breath out, cinch up a bit, rinse and repeat until the desired effect is reached.

I was 11 years old when JFK was assassinated in 63 and was watching the TV when John-John saluted his father's coffin as it passed in the funeral procession.
I can remember my aunt and grandma start crying when he did that and how they thought it was so sad this little boy lost his dad like that.
