Love the way that you put it... I began with the ETO... But my latest researching and reading has been N Afrika and Italy....

These visuals would come with sound correct? The pilots audio transmitted throughout the ship put the sailors in the fight.

But yeah... Your situation was whatever the result of that air battle that you saw... And you could only stand there...

There was a wwii movie. A pilot with a tomato plant in a pot... Diver bomber I believe...
