July 29, 1925. Harry Warnecke, a photographer for the New York Daily News, got a phone tip that a cat trying to carry its kittens home was tying up traffic because a policeman had stopped the cars on a busy street (Centre Street) to allow it to cross.

Teenagers in the 14 to 17 year old range opted for motor bikes since having your own car didn’t happen ‘till you got older. They were actually junk and most everyone opted for Honda, Ducati, or BMW. The really desperate had Cushman, Peugeot, or this Allstate thing.
